§ 02 — Operating thesis

A closed-loop system that turns one partner's waste stream into three audited outputs.

Our bioconversion perimeter accepts pre-consumer organic waste, runs it through a six-stage engineered cycle, and returns three sellable, EU-compliant products to the value chain: sterile larvae protein for aquaculture and pet-food feed, frass pellet fertilizer for arable partners, and a measurable CO₂e displacement credit against soy and fishmeal baselines.

No organic residue leaves the production perimeter. Every batch is traceable from intake to offtake. For a procurement or ESG officer, this means one signed contract covers your waste-disposal cost, your Scope 3 protein sourcing, and your frass-offtake story — auditable down to the kilogram and the hour.

§ 03 — Process architecture

Six stages from intake to offtake, engineered for 24-hour turnaround.

Each stage is metered, logged, and gated by an audit-friendly SCADA node. A technical evaluator should be able to map their own waste stream onto this sequence without ambiguity.

    Intake & QC

    Pre-consumer organic feedstock weighed, sampled, and checked against feedstock acceptance criteria. Rejected loads are diverted before they enter the perimeter.

    Grind & Condition

    Particle-size reduction to 4–6 mm and moisture conditioning to 68–72% — the band our Hermetia illucens strain is engineered for.

    Inoculation

    Proprietary neonate inoculum dosed at 5.2 larvae/cm² across stacked cultivation trays. Strain licensed from our internal breeding nucleus.

    Climate-controlled cell at 28°C / 65% RH. The 22h 40m feed-to-harvest window is monitored against a 36h 2022 baseline — a 38% reduction.
